Charmaine is the Director and Founder of Hands Down Education Consulting. She is a highly regarded and skilled educator with over three decades of experience. She loves spending time with teachers and students. What Charmaine finds most rewarding, is seeing empowered teachers living their best lives, influencing and enabling their students to reach their full potential. 
As a coach, mentor, trainer and consultant, Charmaine has been involved in practically supporting and leading teachers at all career stages in the primary school context. She is a literacy specialist with a focus on explicit instruction. Her experience includes classroom teaching, school leadership, curriculum coordination, staff professional learning, parent support and consultation.

Charmaine is a certified Spalding Teacher Trainer and Instructor, accredited with the International Dyslexia Association and the International Multisensory Structured Language Education Council.
